Proverbs 10:11-13

11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

 12 Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs.

13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning,
but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.

I love how 1 sentence can speak such truths. Many of the “but’s” we have to just know in our own hearts and often people can assume the wrong thing.  Are you speaking and doing things out of love?  What is your heart?  Are  your words “giving life”?  Is there hatred in ya that is making you conflicted?  Are you speaking wisdom because you figured out what the truth is or are you getting punished because you are speaking like the world wants you too?

I’m always trying to look on the bright side and change ANY hatred I have to love quickly.  But my hubby…  has a very slight temper and tends to get angry a little more.  Now as his wife, I feel it’s my job to speak the wisdom I’ve learned…  Have you ever found that doesn’t fly too well?

The other day he was turning off of 295 onto the road heading toward the mall.  There is a light and 2 lanes that can turn right.  He didn’t realize this and went into the other lane and thought the car in front of him had cut him off.  #1) He REALLY thought the car cut him off  #2) His reaction of yelling at the guy was a typical reaction for the world and most wouldn’t have been upset about it #3)  We had our kids in the car.

So I explained what had happened…  He was in the wrong lane and that he cut him off and not the other way around.  I said regaurdless, life stinks and bad things happen all the time and if you can not sputter off angry comments the world will be a better place.  I told him I don’t want the kids around that and thinking it’s OK to yell at anyone making a mistake.  Could they be doing a jerky move sometimes?  Yes, but are we able to know their heart or are you assuming based on what you would do or have experienced in the past?  So TRY and keep your anger in check and speak words of love!

Have a GREAT Easter Holiday if you don’t check in.   But I’ll still be a blogging!
