Luke 23:34

34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Proverbs 10:25

25 When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone,
but the righteous stand firm forever.

Do you “KNOW’ what you are doing?  If you know what the Lord has asked of you and you are not doing it then you know what your are doing.    When our mind wants to get upset or angry at someone we need to ask God to forgive them.   Because we REALLY don’t know what they know or don’t know.    When someone treats you badly because they have a misconception rather than get upset you need to ask God to forgive them.  This is hard especially when it’s someone you are very close to.   You can try and give them space and try and show them love, but if it’s not going to be recieved you may need to hang back and pray for them.  Pray for them everyday.  Pray for yourself too because you may have done something you don’t even know you did, but God knows and can prune us in ways that only he can.

When a storm comes, does it destroy you or are you seeking strength from God and surrounding yourself with those people that God has put in your path to help you deal with it.  I’ve had so many storms, I don’t even know which one to talk about.  Many I let destroy me for a little while before I realizing that my might cannot overcome  it.  I think the storm I stood most firm in was when my husband was diagnosed with cancer.  There was not one moment of fear.  I knew that God was all around us and my family was going to come out strong.  The funny thing was that coming out of that also helped us with other storms that had come at us.  God is good and uses things to help and bless us even when seem like they couldn’t.

So worry about your own heart and ask for forgiveness for others and when the storms hit know where to seek strength!
