John 6:26-29

26 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” 28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

So often when we want something from God and we aren’t getting it we start doubting…  Doubting that it is all real.  But what we are doing is trying to place our anger and hurt.  Rather than accepting that what we have is enough we feel like we are being punish and start rebelling.  We start rebelling against God just like we did with our parents as teenagers.

This battle can go on and on if we don’t realize that God know’s right where we are and there is a reason for it.  So if you are in a bad spot, pray that you learn your lesson quickly…  But know that if you are doing God’s work (believing in Jesus) then we will have our fill.  Don’t waste time questioning it all but rather trust that He knows what is best.
