Acts 9:11-16

11 The Lord told him (a disciple, Ananias), “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

If God can use Saul (later called Paul) then God can use ANYBODY.  Saul was horrible to Christians and he became a chosen instrument of God.  We all think we have to be perfect to do the will of God, but generally it from our imperfections that God’s true will is revealed.

If you were fighting with some kind of stronghold…  addiction, debt, anger, or whatever…  If a pastor read you some scripture and explained how to fix it…  It MAY sink in…  But what if a person who was in your same boat got through it and beat it and now has a life that is 100 times better.  THAT is what impacts people.  Change is hard but when change happens by the might of our Lord, it’s amazing.

So I’m called to pray for those who have dome me harm or are on the wrong path and help when I can because who knows…  they may be a Saul!  🙂
