Acts 9:32-35

32 As Peter traveled about the country, he went to visit the Lord’s people who lived in Lydda. 33 There he found a man named Aeneas, who was paralyzed and had been bedridden for eight years. 34 “Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up. 35 All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

Jesus died on the cross so that we can be healed and our sins forgiven.  We are comfortable with the sins forgiven part…  but many of us don’t REALLY believe we can be healed.   It’s  not by our might but by his strength…  It doesn’t matter how much you do, or how much you learn, you need to TRUST IN HIS STRENGTH.   I think that we are God’s hands and feet..  The body so his strength more often than not will come through us…  through friends, doctors, teachers etc.   We need to TRUST He can fix this and PRAY that we are put in the path of those who will do His work…

My husband suffered from anxiety so badly, he couldn’t fly…  he had to have special pills with him at all times in case he had an attack while we were out.  His life had become a slave to the anxiety which made him angry.  He was like this for 8 years…  He says therapists, doctors, took medication it all helped but didn’t cure anything…  He realized that he was trying to fix this himself and not letting God take over…  Once he trusted God would cure him, he did…  He hasn’t had to take his little pills in 4 years and it’s all because he trusted God’s STRENGTH and not his own might.
